Ever have one of those days where almost every single second of said day pisses you off to the point where you feel so angry that you actually think you've gotten heavier due to the anger? Me neither.

Firefox 2.0 is out. You can download it here. Please do so. It's not a huge leap from the previous 1.5 version, but it is an improvement. I have only used it for a few hours, and it seems just as stable. Tabs are a bit different. They've moved the X button that closes tabs. Each tab has one now instead of having one in the right hand side. I'll get used to that. Themes and Extensions are now listed as Add-ons. I had a few that weren't ready for Firefox 2.0 (BlogThis for example), but the important ones, Adblock Plus and NoScript were ready and updated just fine. There's even a Firefox 2.0 version of Fasterfox. You'll have to manually install that one, but it works just fine.

After mulling over what to write next in terms of a screenplay for a bit, I finally sat down tonight and started something. Originally, I had planned to write something horror related and actually have a story in my head. I had planned to write it for sometime and turning it into a screenplay made more sense. However, things don't always work out how we planned. I started something else tonight. It's called "Uneasy" and is not a comedy or satire. I wouldn't call it horror. The word violent comes to mind. There's nothing healthy in it. Maybe the reason why I'm writing it now is not because it was the loudest story in the line, but because it may need to be pushed from my head like the body does to a splinter. And we all know what happens if you leave a splinter in deep; it gets infected.

I'm done writing for tonight. I'm going to go watch Raging Bull, probably the audio track with Jake LaMotta.

I have updated the Media section with two new videos. The first new video is footage of a tornado hitting Huntsville, AL on March 15th, 1964 and archival footage before and after. Some of the people in the video would eventually help form the Church Without Fear in Huntsville. The second new video is just some guy dancing.

Also, all the videos are now in flash and hosted by Youtube. That means more people can watch them without having to worry about formats, and I won't have to worry about bandwidth. I knew eventually I'd have to stop hosting the videos myself. Youtube may only be a step toward something else, but in the meantime, they're hosted at Youtube. While uploading and converting the videos, I discovered that W. T. For Short can't be hosted at Youtube because they have a 10 minute time limit on video. W. T. is about 11 minutes long. So W. T. isn't going to be available for a while. I need to edit a minute or so from it. For now, enjoy the two new videos and more will be added later.

Powerful earthquake strikes Hawaii - MSNBC.com

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 struck Hawaii early Sunday morning, waking up residents and knocking out power.

There has been no Tsunami warning so far. 95% of Ouha is without power. Maui and the "Big Island" also has power outages. Phones are down. They currently have flash floods from a cold front that's moving through. There have been several mudslids and landslids, some of which are blocking roads and highways.

UPDATE: USGS has said this earthquake was a 6.6 instead of a 6.3.

IntelliAdmin.com: Disable automatic install of IE 7

Don't want IE7? Then go above and learn how to disable the automatic installation of Internet Explorer 7.

I will not be upgrading to IE7. Imagine my shock to find out it'll be automatically installed with Windows Update and replace IE6. I run Update regularly; you have to with M$ software. I was cheesed to find out about M$ plans with IE7. I do not want IE7 for many reasons. The second reason is that I use Firefox. Why would I ever switch back to IE? Having IE behave and look like Firefox isn't going do it for me. But the main reason is that I build websites. How am I going to test a site for IE6 if I don't have it anymore? Sure, there's going to be a lot of people upgrading to IE7. But there are more people who use the web who don't even do updates and will never have IE7. I'd rather them all update, but they're not. You have to keep IE6 if you're going to do any kind of web work which means you can't let M$ automatically install it for you.

When IE7 is finally released, I may post a way to download it and use it as a stand along product. I may have to do that to test website for IE7. Right now, I'm just trying to keep M$ from screwing up my computer further.

Soft Tissue Found Inside Tyrannosaurus Rex Bone - California Academy of Sciences

Well, it's 70 million years old, and it's still "stretchy and flexible". Along with that amazing discovery, under an electron microscope, the blood vessels are "virtually identical to those recovered from modern ostrich bones".

From a Hole in the Sky

13 Stories of Horror, Madness, and Religion make up this dark-kudzu collection. A city run by angels with demanding burial rites. A white van jostling with clowns and warnings about sleep. A weeping pastor with a dead man in a boat. Homicide, Suicide, Jesus, and The Devil. To join a family, you're going to need some stitches. Kids today on their way to cut grass and play cowboys and injuns'. A hole in the ground where poor John Henry met a foul ending. And unholy birthing machines with a chosen one. All this and more. Where do bad things come from? They come FROM A HOLE IN THE SKY.
